Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds (amount to taste)
  • grated fresh ginger root (quantity as preferred)

Instructions
 

  • Add the chia seeds, water, apple juice, and grated fresh ginger root to a glass. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed and the ingredients are fully combined.
  • Transfer the chia fresca mixture to the fridge and let it chill for 15 minutes. This allows the chia seeds to soak up the liquid and expand, forming a lightly gelled texture.
  • After chilling, give the chia fresca a good stir, as the chia seeds may have settled at the bottom of the glass. Serve immediately and enjoy! I sometimes add an extra splash of apple juice on top if I want a sweeter flavor.
