- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 12 oz strawberries (hulled and sliced in half)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Hull the strawberries and slice them in half to help the blender process them more efficiently and create a smoother texture. Measure out the milk, yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt into separate bowls or directly into the blender. I find that having everything measured and ready prevents any delays once you start blending, ensuring the smoothie stays cold and doesn't separate.
Add all prepared ingredients into the blender. Start on a lower speed for 10-15 seconds to break down the strawberries, then increase to medium-high speed and blend for 30-45 seconds until completely smooth with no visible fruit chunks. I like to stop and give the blender a gentle shake halfway through if needed to ensure everything incorporates evenly, especially around the bottom where thicker strawberry pieces can get stuck.
