  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup yogurt (I prefer Fage 5% for a much creamier texture)
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 12 oz strawberries (hulled and sliced in half)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Hull the strawberries and slice them in half to help the blender process them more efficiently and create a smoother texture. Measure out the milk, yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt into separate bowls or directly into the blender. I find that having everything measured and ready prevents any delays once you start blending, ensuring the smoothie stays cold and doesn't separate.
  • Add all prepared ingredients into the blender. Start on a lower speed for 10-15 seconds to break down the strawberries, then increase to medium-high speed and blend for 30-45 seconds until completely smooth with no visible fruit chunks. I like to stop and give the blender a gentle shake halfway through if needed to ensure everything incorporates evenly, especially around the bottom where thicker strawberry pieces can get stuck.
  • Pour the smoothie into glasses right away while it's cold and frothy. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
